Why There Is Still High ESR Level As The Rheumatic Swelling Is Reduced?
Hi...this is mrs.jotwani here.. I m suffering from rheumatoid arthrits from last 1ndhalf year...my esr level is 85... from last one week I m on naturopathic diet nd ayurvedic medicine... but from last one week my swelling and pain has come down.. can I know than y my esr is high.. no how can I reduce it.
hi if you are gettig adequate physical response with lessening of symptoms-it is good to continue with the treatment. You may get ESR repeated. In case it is at same level or goe higher than it may mean some disease process is still active and your treatment may require a review, maybe ayurvedic medicines and treatment has to be taken for longer periods, but a consultation with an allopath rheumatologist may also be done.what really matters is a symptomatic response and control of disease process too Best Wishes, regards,
