Why Toddler's One Eye Stay At One Place For Few Seconds And Then Eventually Moves?
when my 16 month old sometimes looks left or right her 1 eye will stay in place, like it sticks and after a few seconds it will eventually move to where it should be. this does not always occur but sometimes it does. is this because her 1 eye isn't as strong as the other? or what kind of problem is this? thank you
Hello It seems from the history that your 16 months old has got problem of deviation of the eye. This is called as squint or strabismus. It is one of the common problems in childhood and this requires effective treatment at the earliest to prevent development of lazy eye. Hence I advice you to consult ophthalmologist for diagnosing the type of squint and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
