Why Was My Fetus Not Developing?

i m 6 week pregnant but when i went for ultrasound foetus was not developing,My doctor asked me to abort .she has asked me to take MT pill 3 tab of each 200 mg at one time and zefi 200 mg 2 times a day for 5days and after 48 hours misoprost.could u pls advice me is it correct.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion you are on the right path.Usually by 6 weeks the gestational sac is seen.If there is no proper growth it can be terminated.Even if there is little hope a repeat ultrasound can be done after 2 weeks and see for the progress of pregnancy.Otherwise the termination can be done.So discuss regarding that with your doctor.Another thing is medical termination is possible upto 6 -7 weeks only.Anything after it is done by surgical method like D&C.
