Why would I be having a heart rate , regular rhythm of 44 to 52. It has always been 70-80. No recent infections, no other noticeable symptoms. It was discovered today in pre-op physical. I am age 70, fairly active. Some problems with cholesterol, but coming down with diet changes. No meds. Parents both had chf and a fib.and elevated blood pressure. Both deceased age 80 and 84. My blood pressure is120/70. What should I do next ? Is this something to be worried about ?..."..Vicki
