Why Would One Experience Sudden Vomiting, Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Headaches And Fatigue?
My daughter (22) woke up this morning, went upstairs to take a shower and threw up and on her way back to her bed shaking. She got up a bit later to make her some soup and had to lay down because she thought she was going to pass out. When she layed down she noticed her body had a light sweat and she is shaky when she is not lying down. I thought it might be the flu but she said that she has never felt this way with the flu.... Her symptoms are light headed, dizzy, shaky, sweaty when she gets dizzy and a headache.....but only when she isn t laying down. Any ideas or suggestions?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It is an episode of hypotension. Her BP is low and there could be many reasons for the same with flue being one of them . She could have been dehydrated or has electrolyte disturbances. She will have to be hydrated. She should take plenty of water and salt , preferably lemonade. After the BP is fine, she wont get those symptoms . She should try to stay supine as much as possible. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
