Why Yellow Smelly Phelgm Builds Up In Throat Everyday?

please help this has been going on for years. yellow smelly phlegm builds up in my throat and smells horrible. every morning i force most of it out which takes about 45 minutes and is tiring, without fail every day by early evening I feel sick and weak and that is because i can feel this disgusting thing building up in my throat again. it has changed my life and when i couldn't take no more i went to see a doctor two weeks for the appointment and was prescribed aqueous nasal spray which hasn't helped at all. now have to wait another two weeks…please help me

Hi, thanks for the query.
In my opinion , you are suffering from chronic rhinosinositis.
Start steam inhalation ,Plenty of fluids , Mucolytic syp , saline nasal drop , , Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast , Antibiotic azithromycin 10 days, continue aqueous nasal spray.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
