Will 2 Mg Of Diluadid Taken Through IV Show Up In Urine Test?

Hi, I was just curious.. I friend of mine took, iv, 2 mg diluadid moday night. He has a drug test, UA, on Thursday/tomorrow. He has drank over four gallons of water and tea, and has taken six b complex, two cranberry 3600 mg, two flax oil 1000 mg, and acai 1000mg. Will he pee clean?

Hi,

The half life of IV Diluadid (HYDROMORPHONE) is about 2- 3 hours and it takes about 4-5 cycles to get rid of 97% of drug out of the system. Hence, 24 hours should be enough to get rid of IV Diluadid. But it depend upon your renal and liver function too. If liver and kidney function are normal then 97% of the drug will be excreted out via urine. Hence, the remaining 3% is very low to be detected in Urine test. The answer to your question is "Not- Detected" with normal kidney and liver function.
