Will Arthotec Be Detected In US Or Blood Test?


Hi,

My gf is around 6 weeks pregnant.She has been taking arthotec 50 for abortion as we dont want a kid yet but our parents want it. Now she has bleeding and her mother is taking her to doctor tomorrow who will do an ultrasound and some blood tests.



Our parents dont know that she is taking arthotec to induce a misscarriage. We want to know can arthotec be detected in a blood test or internal ultrasound. She has been taking thrice daily for 2 days now and her 3rd day will be tomorrow and we are going to doctor tomorrow.We will go to doctor after more 14 hours of her loast oral dose of arthotec.Please advice asap.

1.The blood test or the doctor will not be able to find out if you have taken tablet or not.
2.But ultrasound can detect that there was a pregnancy and missed abortion status.
3.If she is bleeding - the scan will gives features of incomplete abortion.
4.Blood and urine test will still shows that she is pregnant.
5.Recommend to take needful contraception in future - as abortions will cause difficulty in further pregnancies. Good luck.
