I have a situation where I was exposed to chlamydia a few years back (2006). Just recently I was cleaning out my closet and noticed on the bottom of my portable jet propelled spa filtering net, it had some debris (white dried up color type stuff)..

Well, nonetheless, I used that portable spa back when I was exposed and I recently used it (prior to seeing the bottom of the filtering net), about three weeks ago... since that time I've noticed at the tip of my penis it's discolored (pell, as if I came from out of the pool). I went to my primary today and I was told I was making something out of nothing but she was willing to treat me.

But I know my body and I remember when I was exposed that my penis had the same discoloration (pell).. So my question for you is: 1. I was given AZITHROMYCIN 500mg for one day, one time only. Is this feasible? Will it actually rid me of the bacteria? 2. Should I go into urgent care and ask them to treat me?
