Will BETNESOL 12 Mg Have Any Side Effects For The Infant?
My wife was in 35 week of pregnancy when my Doctor prescribed for 2 dosage of BETNESOL 12 mg in 24 hr ,when we visited her reporting contraction. Cervix was closed but had contraction was there every 15 mins for 30sec. After taking one dosage, next day my wife reported less and reduce intensity of baby movement. Again my wife was kept for 12 hr observation next day and during this time I learned the side effect of this steroid through net. After discussing this to my doc she didn t gave the next dosage. So my query here is this fine to take a single dosage of this steroid? Any side effect to baby with for the single dosage ?

The single dose should not have an effect at this stage of pregnancy. She and the baby should be okay.
