Will Duoluton Have Any Adverse Effects On Pregnancy?

Due to pcod ovary a cyst taken place.Doctor advised me duoluton -L 0.25 mg.i hv taken this ocp for 21 days. Periods came on 30.06 2016.i continued this ocp next month also on doctor advice for 21 days this time also. Meanwhile i got pregnant.now plz advise me that is there any risk to the mental or physical growth of the foetus? Can i continue pregnancy?

Hi,

If you had taken the OCP strictly as advised by your doctor..there is the least chance of pregnancy. Please confirm pregnancy by getting done repeat home test after 8 days delay in period.

In case the pregnancy is confirmed & you had consumed the OCP in early pregnancy... you need to abort it, as pills fo have side effects to cause fetal malformations (may be physical or psychological).
