Will Ginger Root And Slippery Elm Help To Recover From Nausea Due To Gastroparesis?
I have gastroparesis and have been unable to work due to nausea, inability to eat and weakness due to not eating. I have tried everything recommended for gastroparesis attacks and wondered if Ginger Root and Slippery Elm would be of any help for this nausea? Also, can they be used together?

Will Ginger Root And Slippery Elm Help To Recover From Nausea Due To Gastroparesis?
Hello, Usually ginger root is helpful in nausea. But in case of gastroparesis you have to treat the cause. Prokinetic agents like domperidone or levisulfuride may useful. Ginger may help some extent. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and do upper GI endoscopy and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
