Will Levothyroxine Help To Control Thyroid Levels Completely?

I am on Levothyroxin, starting in 2005 at a dosage of 25, no improvement, then raised by increments of 25 and so here we are in 2015 and I finally self I ncreased my dosage to 150 from 100. Finally, better concentration, able to perform my job, not as much anxiety and mood swings and STILL have gone from Petite 2 to a size 16 -- I EAT LESS THAN MOST PEOPLE and no junk foods. Is it possible to actually get the thyroid under control. russellwrangler in VA

I really appreciate your concern, what the symptoms you have stated here and the dose of thyroid medicine are nothing to do with each other and it is not advisable to increase the dose due to this only but it need to be increase according to test result, try to low down the stress, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
