Will Metronidazole Taken During Pregnancy Harm The Fetus?

I took metronidazole 500 for 7 days right after ovulation, and i just found out im pregnant, do there is any way this could harm the baby? I finished the whole dose then 10 days later, on my supposed day 1 period i took a pregnancy test and it was positive , any risk that it harmed the fetus?

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Metronidazole during early pregnancy.
As such there is no documented harmful effects on the fetus if taken during pregnancy.
Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
However, usually it is avoided during pregnancy.
