Will Metronidozol Medicine Have A Effect On Contraception?

Hi I ve been on the nur isterate for almost. 5years. I have skipped about 2 shots last year but finally decided 2 completly stop this year. My last shot was in Jan 2016. I have been on anti biotic called Metronidozol 400mg for a period of 5 days late in March 2016. Will it have any effect on the contreceptive?

Hello,
Metronidazole is a anthelmintic drug which commonly used in parasitic infection and Amoebiasis. Metronidazole does not interfere in contraceptive mechanism.
