General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Norlut N tablet contains the ingredients namely 'Norethisterone'. Norethindrone is a type of female hormone called 'progestin'. This medication is used to treat women with abnormal bleeding from the uterus. It is also commonly used for the postponement of menstrual cycle. Once you stop this medication, you should get periods by 3 to 5 days. It does not affect in any way or harm pregnancy in future.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
