Will Primolet Help In Conception?

I have regular period and we want to conceive now becoz my husband is a seafarer and had only short vacation, we ar so desperate so we went to the gynecologist and he gave me 10pcs primolut to be taken once a day on my fertile period and told us to have intercourse on those period, will taking primolut helps us conceive? I searched in the internet everywhere but it seems to be the oposite becoz some says if trying to get pregnant don t take primolut, am having my second thought to take it. Plz help me

Primolut N contains norethisterone, which belongs to a group of hormones called progestogens.
Primolut N can be used to treat several conditions like:
1. irregular, painful or heavy periods
2. endometriosis
3. premenstrual syndrome
4. to delay periods
It generally not used to improve chances of conception.
Progesterone in other forms may be used during such period, which would help to increase your luteal phase of menstrual cycle that might help embryo to get more time to attach on the uterine wall, if fertilization occurs.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for the review of the prescription and take suitable medications as per the needs and advise.
