Will Vaseline Cause Any Harm If Taking Accidentally By Child?

Hi ,
My 15 month old baby was playing with a vaseline box, we found it open after some time. I am worried that she might have swallowed some. I was getting her food and she was playing with it for 10-15 minutes. Never thought she'd be able to open it! Will it cause any harm? Do I need to take her to ER?

Hello. Thank you for your question. This is a very common occurrence in most homes. Thankfully, vaseline is non-toxic and can not do damage if swallowed. at most, there may be some mild abdominal discomfort that will resolve quickly. But there is nothing to worry about.
