Hi Ms. Sudeshna,
Fibroid in the uterus can lead to infertility or failed pregnancy if it is located just beneath the endometrium or at the utero-tubal junction or cervical region. Also, a fibroid grows during a pregnancy and can thus complicate a pregnancy. Since you have a small fibroid, it may not be of much hindrance if it is subserosal and located on the body of the uterus. If your doctor feels the need, a simple myomectomy, either surgical or medical, is usually sufficient. Your hormone levels are normal. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
