Hi , my Alkaline phosphate iS Reading 145 , my ALT IS 46, MY AS IS 19, I AM EXTREMELY DEHYDRATED. MY QUESTION IS WOULD MY DEHYDRATION CAUSE MY LIVER TEST TO BE HIGH, I HAVE KIDNEY INFECTION, BUT MY KIDNEYS HURT MOSTLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE, AND I KEEP GETTING SEVERE BODY EDMA ! WHAT DO U THINK ! The dehydration would usually alter renal function test, that of creatinine, but not alkaline phosphatase. There can be various issue as diseases of the biliary system like primary biliary cirrhosis, bone related disorders as Paget's disease, others. Rest of the history, physical findings and reports co-relation will give precise clue for the case need.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
