Fertyl 50 mg is very effective ,but during the use of it chances to have twins pregnancy are very high.

Since you are a case of PCOS, the main aim in the management is to achieve egg release (ovulation) which is not happening in PCOS. Fertyl 50 mg which contain Clomiphene citrate as an active medicine in the pills which help the ovaries release the eggs. So it is a good medicine to start with. This medicine is not advised to be taken for more than 6 months.

PCOS is a condition which is not limited to the dysfunction of the ovaries only; it is characterized by high insulin levels in the body to which the tissues are insensitive. Hence, Metformin which makes the tissues sensitive to insulin is used to manage PCOS. Neoform is Metformin. It would be a good adjuvant with Fertyl.

Primolut N is not indicated in this condition when you are aspiring for pregnancy.

Along with the medicines, you have to follow certain lifestyle in managing PCOS. You have to have your BMI under 23.9. Hence, high protein, moderate carbohydrates and low fat with plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables should be the pattern of your diet. You should also do exercise with the advice of a physiotherapist.

High blood pressure also is a presentation due to alteration in the fat metabolism in PCOS. So please modify your die and get a physician's help for controlling your blood pressure.

It is a good practice to monitor ovulation by ultrasonography. The follicles of 18-21 mm size release the best quality of egg and have good chance of successful pregnancy. If the ovulation is not happening then, Fertyl may be supported by hCG injections when the follicle has reached optimal size. Also, ultrasonography will inform the endometrial thickness. Endometrium of thickness between 9 to 14 mm is most conducive for the implantation of fertilized ovum.

Occasionally, due to Fertyl, more than one eggs may get released (Hyperstimulation syndrome). This will cause pain in abdomen and you have to report to your Gynaecologist ASAP in such events. Hyperstimulation may lead to multiple pregnancies also.

You may plan your intercourse when the follicles have reached size of 18 mm. Alternate day sexual relations at this stage will help fertilization.
