Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the recurrent urinary tract infection, causes being, reinfection from the partner, or the organism is not diagnosed. I advise you to consult an urologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a culture and sensitivity of the urine for diagnosis and treatment according to the result. I also advise both of you to have treatment, till the culture become negative. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have resistance against the infections. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.

Thank you for query.sulphamethoxyzole trimethoprim are good drugs though but may have deleterious effects on your baby if you are pregnant.first thing is to address the cause for rec current UTI .albeit there are common in woman we need to evaluate causes like honey moon cystitis(due to sexual intercourse),incomplete emptying of bladder, use of diaphragm or spermicidal coated condom constipation obstruction etc.ask you doc to give prophylaxsis for uti with nitrofurantoin which is safer alternative .as you are having repeated episodes.evaluate whether you fit in to any of the above causes.hope this is helpful.regards
