I'm 31 weeks pregnant. I have PCOS. My doctor prescribed gestrenol for me after I conceived. She made me take this medicine for four months though I had no sign of bleeding. Was it harmful for me and my baby? I often missed few dosage of gestrenol that time. How can it harm me and my baby?
Gestrenol is a pregnancy supporting drug that helps prevent miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss (if a history of miscarriage is present) and premature labour. It cannot do any harm to you or your baby, instead only helps when taken during pregnancy.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
