Will Getting A Cortisone Injection For Herniated Disc Safe ?

I have two herniated discs in my lower back and am going for a cortisone injection. I am scheduled to fly to Las Vegas 24 hours after my injection. Are there any risks involved with flying or drinking 24 hours after the injection? I am a 32 y/o male who has received one cortisone shot in the past.

I hope you mean epidural steroid, for your radicular bach pain. They are safe and after 24 hrs you can travel. Your pain might still be there as the peak effect of steroids take a few days to come but that pain can be taken care by oral medications. I do not feel any contraindications to fly if the procedure gets off without any untowards side effect
