Will Glucosamine Help In Controlling Knee Pain? How To Cure Indention Left By Socks? Hypoglycemia Controlled With Diet
I am a 35 year old female I have been having pain in my right knee, slightly north of the actuall cap when I kneel or squat and it makes a crackling noise on the way down but not when I rise up...and my socks have started leaving indentions on my legs..i only 135 lbs and active with no medical problems other than hypoglycemia, which is controlled by diet..This has just started in the last 3 weeks. Would it be connected and can I take something for the indentions on my legs? Also would glucosamine help with my knee pain or is there anything I can take that would help? thanks
Hi there. Yes glucosamine can help in reduction of knee pain. But this is just an adjunct to knee exercises. You need to go to a good physiotherapist and learn Quadriceps and Hamstrings strengthening and stretching exercises. Kindly increase your milk intake and start a good calcium tablet regularly. Your sock indentation seems to be due to edema. You need to wear venous stockings in bth legs for that and start calf pumping exercises.
