Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I read that Glutamine helps with sugar addiction and taking 1000mg in the morning and 1000 mg in the evening for 2 to 3 weeks will help you crave less sugary foods/sweets...is this true? I am a regular cola junkie and am trying to break the habit. I drink about 76 ounces of soda a day and am now just moving to good old H2O.
I have also come across many articles and advertisement where they claim that glutamine helps in sugar cravings. But sadly,it is not proven.Gluatmine is Medical supplement used for protein synthesis.Use stevia(plant) as a sugar alternative. It is safe,no calories and will definitely help you.
