whaI had an abnormal bleeding which was actually a prolonged regular menstruation. Doctors didn't know t was wrong .... All my levels of hormones were ok... The problem was that I wasn't examined regularly because I had never had sex .... We did MR of uterus and everything was all right with uterus and ovarius, but .... there was a very big polyp in the cervix which actually caused the abnormal bleeding.... Hysteroctomy was done.... I had to sign a consent for the intervention and for eventual damage of the hymen... I want you to answer me please is it possible that my hymen is still there even though the hysteroctomy is done??? I received a report that hymen is still there actually it says "virgo intacta" .... I still suspect... Is this possible? Thank you in advance.... Desperate ...
