Will I Clear Cotinine Test If I Avoid The Cigarettes For 10 Days?

31 yr old in good shape, not overweight or anything like that. I smoke 1-2 cigarettes a week, i m extremely active, running/playing sports etc. My company has a cotinine test through Quest if we want to get reduced rates. -will i pass the test if i avoid any cigarettes for the next 10 days?

I went through your details. When someone stops using tobacco and nicotine products, it can take more than two weeks for the blood level of cotinine to drop to the level that a non-tobacco user would have and several weeks more for the urine level to decrease to a very low concentration. But your tobacco usage is one to two cigarette per week. Over and above you are really healthy. In these cases, within a week your blood should be alright.
