Will Intake Of Diphenhydramine Cause Ulcers?

I have a history of gastric bypass roux en y .nearly two years ago I had a severe bleeding ulcer just outside of the outlet of my stomach in what was explained to me as A J shaped part of my intestine that was moved up and attatched where the bypassed section used to be attached.I am now experiencing severe symptoms again I am scheduled to see a specialist who will look with a scope for more ulcers. I have been extremely careful avoiding everything I was told to avoid to ensure the ulcer would not return. I take the meds prescribed. However, I have terrible trouble sleeping since then & have taken Diphenhydramine to fall asleep every night for over a year. Could this have created new ulcers & reinjured the healed one? It feels as though I have 3 possibly 4 ulcers. I recognize the pain & its in 3 spots consistently. and sometimes a 4th

Hi,in addition to úlcera that are generated from some medications especially nonsteroidal antinflamatory drugs some medication like diphenhyidramine may affect you especially if not taking gastric mucosal proyective drugs.
Also need to consider other factores such as stress, and the lack of food at meal times,acid foods,flours,spicy seasonings and other irritantes wold have to eliminate from your diet.
Finally you should analyze with your doctor, the medication for your health and choose specific proyective medication for your problem.
