Will It Fine To Take Elisa Test After 9 Months?

Hello everybody, here is my situation:9 months ago, I had sex with a friend that I didn't know so much. We used condom in the penetration, but she gave me oral sex without a condom, I also introduced my fingers in her vagina for some time. I decided to take an ELISA TEST (FOUTH GENERATION) 9 MONTHS AFTER THE INCIDENT. DO YOU THINK IS CONLUSIVE AFTER 9 MONTHS?

Hi there.
I hear your concern & if the history & description is accurate, yes, it would seem that it is conclusive & you are in the clear.
However for best results, it should be 2 Elisa tests at least 6 weeks apart in different labs preferably using different batches/kits.
I trust you are still in contact with the 'friend' & perhaps you could ask her to check as well for added comfort.
In either case, having given you my advice, as a medical professional I would fall short if I did not advocate the practice of 'safe sex' to you & anyone who would care to listen...always & every time.
Good Luck & Godspeed.
