Will Ketogenic Diet For Pre-diabetes Control Lead To Dark Green Stool?
Hi I am in a ketogenic diet for pre-diabetis control with a very low amount of fiber in my diet. Today I noticed dark green stools when I went to the restroom. I have no other symptoms. No abdominal pain or lower back pain. I don t take peptobismol or any iron supplements. I have been constipated for a few days and after taking some colon cleanser fiber I finally was able to go... and noticed the abundant green stools and got me really worried
Dear friend i understand your concer.in my opinion your out look toward diabetes should change.this kind of ketogenic diet is not good in preventing diabetes.this kind of diet shedule will give lot of stress to your body in fact they are harmful to your body.the best way to fight diabetes is to do daily work out and take healthy diet.your diet should include more fiber as fiber will not allow glucose in food to be realised suddenly and controlles rapid raise of blood sugars in your body.taking lot of fiber prevents constipation and also decreaes fat absorption in your body so more fiber you take more fat you get ride off. there is lots of research data telling that people who are taking low fiber are more prone for colon cancer. so follow healthy diet and daily work out to keep away from diabetes the green colour stool is due to the bulk forming agent in your colon clenser nothing to worry about that .....
