Hi!
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Lisinopril is in a class of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Lisinopril is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat
high blood pressure.
This drug (like any other drug) has a large number of possible side effects but it doesn't damage your teeth.Lisinopril doesn't have this side effect.
On the other hand Lisinopril can be the cause of dry mouth you are experiencing.
I can't tell you the right cause of your teeth problems but I can tell you that this isn't due to Lisinopril.
If you don't have any side effect of Lisinopril (such as:-persistent
dry cough ,
dizziness , headache ,excessive tiredness, nausea, diarrhea, weakness, sneezing, runny nose, rash) I don't see any reason why you should stop using it.
If your blood pressure is in normal range with Lisinopril I don't suggest you to change it.
If you experience any side effect of Lisinopril and you want to change your treatment I can suggest you Diovan (
Valsartan) 80 mg once a day and montor your blood pressure.
Hope it answered your inquiry!
Take care
