Will Nasal Allergies Affect Ankle Surgery With General Anaesthesia?
Hi. I am experiencing stuffiness in my nose and have sneezed multiple times. Mucus has been clear and no chest congestion. No fever. I am having foot and ankle surgery tomorrow and general anesthesia will be used. Will this nasal congestion which is due to my allergies stop my surgery?

you might have allergic rhinitis. Thesev people may have an associated asthma , that might create problem with genral anesthsia ,,, allergic rhinitis can be easily taken care of by antiallergic ,, get a spirometry (investigation for lungs ) done if it is normal nothing to worry.
