Will Nasal Congestion Be Treated With Nazacort And Tyzine?
Hi Doctor my name is Sonny from New York and for my constant nasal congestion my ENT doctor prescribed me 1% TETRAHYDROZOLINE compounded with nasacort but Tyzine ( TETRAHYDROZOLINE ) is not available in the market. Please advice where and how can I get this medication, really appreciate you advice, thank you
Hi Sonny. If the solution is not available in the market you can ask the pharmacist about the alternative brand named medicines , if still not available you have to request your Doctor to write another one.
Hello, You have been prescribed decongestant for your nasal congestion i.e tetrahydrozoline. If this is not available in the market you can use similar class of medicine like xylometazoline or oxymetazoline along with nasocort that you are using. Plus steam inhalation 3 to 4 times a day may also be useful for you. Take care. Hope this is useful. Thank you.
