Will Nasal Spray And Xylometazoline Hydrochloride Help Subside The Burning Sensation In Nose?
3 weeks ago i Snorted a perticullarly nasty chemical that burnt the inside of my nose like satan himself had just set fire in my nose. I cleaned it out the next day (hind sight should have done it ASAP) Its not been 3 weeks since then it hasn't been causing me any pain since day 2 however the airway is almost completely blocked, and it's not showing any signs of improving, the only thing that opens up the airway is a OTC nasal spray I got with Xylometazoline Hydrochloride in it, but you are not meant to use it for more than 7 days.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The smell you have experienced is the acid fumes, which is pungent, and burning in nature. The second experience is the common cold may be due to the viral infection, or allergic rhinitis. I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenyl propolamine, citrizine, and paracetamol . Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and Protein rich foods to avoid such infections. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
