How to gain weight without side effects? Can I take Nutrigain capsules? Hi I am naveen,From bangalorei am 28 years old, but my weight is below 55 kgs. i want to gain my weight with healthy and no side effects. Hi Mr.Naveen. Welcome to HCM. Gaining weight normally is by diet and exercise. Taking ayurvedic supplements may not be the healthy way. Some people do not gain weight because they have a high BMR (basal metabolic rate). They burn calories faster and hence they do not have fat deposition. Now coming to the correct way of gaining weight. You have to calculate the number of calories your body requires. For a man of 28 years you should have about 25-30 calories/kg body weight per day. I also suggest a gym workout which will increase your muscle mass more than just your weight. But this method is not a quick method.
