Will Pizotifen Cause Any Harm To Health With Continued Use?
Hi I am 35 years women I was taking pizotifen 0.5 for one year it works very well for my bad migraine with aura but the doctor ask me to stop it because weight gain he gave me naproxen ,I am scared to stop pizotifen I don t want to lose lot of weight if I stop pizotifen I am 70 kg I use to be 50 kg ,if I keep taking this medicine is it harmful for my health in the future ? The side effects of pizotifen are increased appetite and weight gain, drowsiness, fatigue, nausea, unusual weakness, dizziness, headache or dry mouth may occur.
Naproxen is a good drug for migrainous headache and you will definitely get a response. If not,then notify your doctor promptly.
