Will Plasma Exchange Help In Treating Severe Pain While Treating MS?
I have MS and am having a never ending flare up that did not respond to oral steroids. Last time I did IV steroids I was rushed to the hospital for an extraordinarily rapid heart beat and high blood pressure. I don t ever want to do them again. Read about plasma exchange as a possibility. Still off my feet, in pain and desperate for treatment. Any suggestions??? Please!!!
Multiple sclerosis has a course of waxing and waning. I can understand your pain. The treatment options are as follows: 1) Steroids 2) Plasma exchange 3) Monoclonal antibodies
Once ask your treating physician about monoclonal antibodies. Plasma exchange will help too but monoclonal antibodies are superior.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
