Prolomet AM 50 contains both amlodipine and metoprolol which is used in the maintaining of
high blood pressure or
hypertension and heart rate. Prolomet AM 50 is also used to treat angina or heart related chest pain, arrhythmias or abnormal heart rhythms and
chronic heart failure.
Side effects of Prolomet AM are nausea, vomiting, low blood pressure or hypotension, slow heart rate, fatigue, tiredness, weakness, stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness, sleepiness, depression, chest pain and discomfort,
blurred vision, heartburn, muscle pain, acidity, rashes, itching, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should inform your doctor first for
medical help. Despite having side effects, you should not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor.
