Will Quitting Marijuana For A Few Days Before Saliva Test Still Detect Its Presence?
How many days should I quit smoking marijuana before a saliva test to come up negative? I am a heavy smoker, 7 days a week possibly up to 3 g a day. I have 4 days until the test.....I have been searching the internet and so many different answers are found, ranging from 12 hours up to 7 days...please clarify for me!

Cannabis is detectable by saliva testing. Just like blood testing, saliva testing detects the presence of parent drugs and not their inactive metabolites. This results in a shorter window of detection for cannabis by saliva testing. If saliva sample is tested in a lab, the detection level can be as low as 0.5 ng/mL (up to 72 hours after intake).
