Will Stopping Nexito And Mirtaz Cause Any Withdrawal Symptoms?
my husband was having severe depression symptoms and was prescribed nexito 20 and mirtaz 15 now this drowsiness is taking a toll on his home and office routine and he has been on this medicenes for about eight weeks now. will there be any withdrawal difficulties and any other side effects

nexito and mirtaz both are antidepressant medicines
it is not always that these medicines are causing withdrawal but sometimes abrupt discontinuations will produce such symptoms
if he is now better and your doctor advise u to stop medicines
than my opinion is that you have to gradully tapering it down for next 2 weeks
after two weeks you can stop it
gradually decease doses of medicines is like
nexito 20 mg to 10 mg in 1st week ,,than 5 mg in second week
mirtaz 15 mg to 7.5 mg in 1st week and than stop it in second week
