Will Taking Livepil And Frisium Cause Any Side Effects?

My son is 6.5 years old and suffered from complex partial seizures 3 times in the sleep, after consulting Nurologists, he advised my sund to take livepil 500mg in the morning and in the night along with frisium 5mg everyday. will there be any side effects.

Livepil can cause weakness, dizziness and drowsiness. It can also cause respiratory infection. However these effects may diminish on prolonged use. Further livepil is the safest drug used for seizures and you have to continue this medicine for your son for at least 2-3 years. Frisium can also cause dizziness and cognitive impairment; is a effective drug for initial control of seizure. Your son has to continue these medicines as advised by neurologist for control of seizures. Do not bother about their side effects.
