Will Taking Prolifen Help In Conception?
Hello doc!
I am sufering from pcos since 2006 and now um married from May 2010 but conceive only once and had a miscarriage after 10 days of pregnancy in december 2010.. and um taking prolifen 50 mg capsules alongwith glucophage and folic acid.. but didnt conceive till date.. plz advice should i continue with prolifen? and also my consultant has advised me to have an ultrasound on 14th day of my periods and then she will give me an injection for conceiving..

Monitoring of follicle growth by ultrasound is essential to see whether follicle reaches diameter of 18 to 20 mm.
But however the follicles don't grow with 50 mg dose than dose has to be increased to 100 mg.
