Will Taking Duphaston Once A Day During Pregnancy Cause Any Harm To Baby?

hi, im on my 16th week of pregnancy now. My doctor instruct me take Duphaton twice daily for two weeks. Since i have an 8 months baby and im working too, i ussually missed to take my Duphaston at night, therefore im taking it once daily only... will it have any effect to my unborn child??

hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion duphaston is usually prescribed in cases of history with previous abortion or any suspicion of hormonal insufficiency in this pregnancy. Usually duphaston is prescribed for two times a day. But if you have missed the dose you can take twice daily as usual from next day onwards.Dont worry.So discuss regarding that with your doctor.Take rest.Avoid physical strain.
