Will Taking Duphaston During 5th Week Of Pregnancy Affect The Unborn Child?

my wife is 7 weeks pregnant and she has taken duphaston during the fifth week of pregnancy without knowing the pregnancy. But after checking with the pregnancy test kit in the seventh week, pregnancy got confirmed hence now my worry is whether duphaston dydrogesterone will affect the child ??

It can cause concern regarding congenital defects. You should follow usg scan regularly with a radiologist. You can go for abortion if any serious defects are diagnosed. But generally it should not cause it.
