Will Taking Primulot To Delay Period Give Cramps And Headaches?

Hi, I've just picked up script for primulot. Been given it to delay my period. Expected period next Wednesday 3july & delaying it as running 42km marathon on sun 7 July & definitely don't want it for this date. My concerns are that it will give me cramps or worse still headaches. Have u had any experience with this drug please. Alternatively I was going to take now for 3 days then stop and hope to get period down and over with before next Sunday. Advice please?..

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

It is not obligatory that a side effect of a medication must occur each time you take it. You might take the medication and not even experience any side effects such as cramps or headaches. If this is your first time, you might experience it but that is for sure unsure (we can not tell for sure until you take it). Well personally I have prescribed to patients whom I have not noticed any side effects or have any reported. I feel it is a safe medication to take to delay your period.

Hope this helps
