Will Taking Regestrone Cause Any Problems During Early Pregnancy?

I am 25 year old. I got married in the last year. For the past two months i am trying for a baby. Mean time, i had vaginal dryness. I met my gynac. She gave me zinc nurture tablets and asked me to take regesterone tablets from the 19th july to 29th july. I got my period on 1st july. I did love making from my 9th day to 14 th day. My question is "There is a possibility to get conception right?....mean time if i take this regesterone, it will affect my pregnancy??? please advise me.....

Hi, I have gone through your question. Regestrone is norethisterone which is a progesterone. It is not completely safe in pregnancy and causes virilization of the female fetus.
Unprotected intercourse in the fertile period ( 9-14 days after periods) can lead to pregnancy.
I would suggest you to not to take Regestrone in this cycle.
