Thank you for the query.
Thyronorm is L-Thyroxine, used in subjects who are hypothyroid (deficiency in the thyroid hormones). Hypothyroidism can cause a number of symptoms like tiredness, lethargy, dry skin, hair fall and menorrhagia (excessive bleeding during menstrual cycle). To prevent these and to maintain a euthyroid state the medication is given.
As per your clinical history, you have been taking this drug for approximately 5 years and presently your TSH status is acceptable (i.e. you are euthyroid), hence you can continue the present dosage of the drug. As per calculation your BMI is 24.8 kg/m2, which is on the higher side, hence I would advice you to losed some weight. You may also get your lipid profile checked, since hypothyroid subjects often have increased cholesterol levels. I would advice you to visit your endocrinologist every 6 months with thyroid profile done, so that adjustment in the L-Thyroxine dose can be done if required.

Hope this helps.
