Will Taking Vitex Pills Help To Get Periods Back?

I just got off depo provera a month ago, I was due for my shot but I didn t go. I really want a period back because I haven t had one since 2011. Will taking vitex pills help me get my periods back? & I ve decided to use a herbal supplement and how much should I take?

Your period will not return until the depo provera wears off, no matter what medicine you take. Once three months pass since the last shot of depo, you can start having periods again. However, it may take up to six months from the shot in some women. If you still don't have your period by then, talk to your doctor about what might be causing you to not have periods.
