Will The SGOT And SPGT Levels Return To Normal On Stopping Alcoholism?
Normally, if your SGOT and SPGT WILL return to normal levels, how long after stopping drinking should they start to decrease? I completely stopped 8 days ago and am hoping that if stopping drinking will help these markers I will see some decrease in the lab tests I take tomorrow. Too soon?

There may be some disease in the liver enzyme values (SGOT and SPGT) .
It you have a history of prolonged excess use of alcohol the damage to the liver may be long standing and reversal may not occur however.
If this is not the case then minor change may have already occurred.
